We are grown up on the lap of the wonderful nature and are blessed with the gifts of nature. It is our primary and most important duty to understand the significance and spirit of the traditional Diwali celebrations. Burning of fireworks is the highlight of the festival. There is a misconception among public that pollution due to Diwali crackers is only once-in-a-year event and so there is no need to worry about it but bursting of fireworks increases the pollution level and its hazardous impacts remain for several days.
There is a lot to learn from great Indian freedom fighter ‘Sardar Patel’. He is indeed a real hero for youths of the country. We must be thankful to him for giving us the chance to live in a united country. It is the time to pay tribute to him in the form of ‘Statue of Unity’ which will show the whole world the ‘Power of Unity’. The 'Statue of Unity' will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31, the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. The Statue of Unity is a monument dedicated to Indian independence movement leader Vallabhbhai Patel, located in the state of Gujarat.
It is the world's tallest statue with the height of 182 meters (597 ft). It is not only twice as large as America’s Statue of Liberty but also larger than China’s Spring Temple Buddha, the largest statue in the world at present.
